Seigel comes to the Clearwater-based Direct Mail Systems following assignments as the chief fundraiser for several international children’s and animal protection-focused charities, including Operation Smile, the not-for-profit medical services organization that provides reconstructive facial surgery to children in developing countries, and the International Fund for Animal Welfare, the largest organization of its kind in the world – dedicated solely to animal welfare.
During nearly 30 years as a fundraising executive Seigel’s diversified experience in management, fundraising, decision making, strategic planning and problem solving at the local, state, national and international levels has yielded fresh and long-lasting results for the organization’s he has served and counseled.

A native of Lima, Ohio, and Flint, Michigan Seigel attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in political science from Western Michigan University. Seigel has implemented direct mail fundraising campaigns credited with raising nearly $300 million in the United States and Canada, and throughout Europe and Asia.
